I recently found out about a program called FL (Fruity Loops) Studio, which offers a free limited trial version of the software, which is great because it allows me to do what I’ve been wanting to do for a long time - write music files for my computer (mp3’s and midi specifically) which also allows me to write original music for the Tribes of Norlan games which I’m working on in RPG Maker XP. Who doesn’t love the song “Changes” by David Bowie? No one, that’s who.
But remember that saxophone solo at the very end of the song? I’ve had the last few notes of that solo stuck on a repeating loop in my head ALL DAY so far today. Nah-nah-nah-nah.. WAH-nehr, WAH-nehr, WAH-nehr, WAH-neh-Wah-nerrr…… needless to say, it’s very annoying.
Oh, and then I went to Szechuan Garden down the street for lunch (alone mind you), and my fortune cookie said something about how there is a “deep and meaningful friendship between you both” (emphasis mine) WTF? I don’t have anybody like that in my life.. I hardly have any friends left that I’m in contact with. I think my food is mocking me. How’s that for paranoia?

Yes I am a very sad nerdy individual. But I do love to rock out fully covered in online rpgs. Part of the appeal of Mabinogi at least right now is that it’s still relatively small and there aren’t such vast level and skill differences between people. Continue reading this post..
